16. Content Output Presentations
AN EXPANDED TUTORIAL
Canva is a powerful tool that allows users to create stunning visuals for a variety of purposes. Whether you’re designing social media graphics, flyers, or presentations, Canva has everything you need to bring your ideas to life. In this lesson, we’re going to explore how to output your Canva content into a presentation format.
To begin, navigate to the drop-down arrow in the top right corner of the Canva editor. From there, you’ll see an option for “Presentation”. Click on this link to start the process of converting your design into a presentation.
Once you’ve clicked on the presentation option, you’ll have the choice to download it as a standard presentation or as a presenter view. The presenter view is a useful tool for those who will be giving a live presentation and need notes or cues to guide them. Select the presenter view option and then click on “Present” to start the presentation mode.
When you click on “Present”, a dialog box will appear showing you what your audience will see. You can then drag this window to the screen where you will be presenting or recording your content. If you have two screens, this presenter window will have your notes and other details needed for your presentation. Simply click “Got it” to proceed.
As you begin presenting, your audience will see the content without your notes. This allows you to guide them through the presentation while having your own set of cues and reminders readily available. By using the presenter view in Canva, you can easily take any document you’ve created and transform it into a professional and engaging presentation.
By utilizing the presenter view feature, you can enhance your presentations and provide a more dynamic experience for your audience. Next time you create a design in Canva, consider using the presentation view to elevate your content and deliver a memorable presentation.
Creating a visually appealing presentation with Canva is a simple and intuitive process.

Go to Canva.com and sign in to your account.
Step 2: Select a Presentation Template
Click on the “Create a design” button and select the “Presentation” option. Choose a pre-designed template that fits the theme and style of your presentation, or start from scratch by selecting a blank presentation template.
Step 3: Customize Your Presentation
Edit the template to add your content, such as text, images, charts, and other visual elements. Customize the colors, fonts, and layout to match your branding or presentation theme. You can also add animations and transitions to make your presentation more engaging.
Step 4: Organize Your Slides
Arrange your slides in a logical order by selecting the “Pages” tab on the left side of the screen. You can easily drag and drop slides to rearrange them or add new slides by clicking the “+” button.
Step 5: Present Your Presentation
Once you have finished designing your presentation, click on the “Present” button at the top right corner of the screen. This will open your presentation in full-screen mode.
Step 6: Access the Presentation Link
If you want to share your presentation with others, click on the “Share” button and select the “Copy link” option. You can then send the link to your audience so they can view the presentation online.

If you need to download your presentation, click on the “Download” button and choose the file format you prefer (PDF, PNG, or PowerPoint). You can also select the quality and size of the download.
Step 8: Set Up Two-Screen Display
To set up a two-screen display for presenter notes and audience viewing, connect your computer to a second monitor or use a screen-sharing tool. Open your presentation on one screen for the audience to view and have your presenter notes or script on the other screen for your reference.
Step 9: Engage with Your Audience
Engage with your audience while presenting by maintaining eye contact, speaking clearly and confidently, and using visuals to reinforce your key points. Use Canva’s design features to create impactful visuals that grab your audience’s attention and keep them engaged.
By following these steps and utilizing Canva’s features effectively, you can create and present a visually appealing presentation that will captivate your audience and leave a lasting impression.
