Application Questions
- Do you know of any leaders who have been unfairly destroyed, discouraged, or discredited? Has it happened to you?
- “DESTROY” Questions: Are you in danger of having others trying to destroy your ministry or sidetrack you from your primary mission? What distractions might take you away from your most important tasks? Have you ever been tempted to settle for second-best?
- “DISCOURAGE” Questions: In what ways do attacks diminish your courage? What are you most afraid of? (e.g., Losing income? Having your reputation ruined? Having loved ones hurt?)
- “DISCREDIT” Questions: Have you had things rumored about you that weren’t true? How will you handle the slander that comes your way?
- Through these various attacks, Nehemiah could have become demoralized or even destroyed. What did he do to keep strong and keep going? What will you do?
